Treatment Options

What are my Treatment Options?

Most doctors throughout the medical profession can do a great job of relieving the secondary conditions (symptoms) temporarily. For most people it begins with prescription medication, which can often alleviate the secondary conditions by turn off pain receptors, but doesn’t get to the root of the problem. Another common choice is physical therapy. Here the goals are to reduce muscle spasm, mobilize the joints, and strengthen weak musculature. For those who haven’t received relief of the secondary conditions, injections and sometimes even more invasive procedures such as surgery are recommended.

It’s not that one method is better than the other, we simply have a different set of goals in our office when compared to most traditional doctors. Our focus restoring the optimal function of the body, not just treating the symptoms.
